- About Tiffany -

Tiffany is a historian and scholar of women, gender, and feminism, living on California’s Central Coast. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from the University of California, San Diego, and Master’s and PhD degrees in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a former Affiliated Scholar with the Institute for Research on Women and Gender (now the Clayman Institute) at Stanford University, and for many years she taught courses in U.S. history, women’s history, and cultural and intellectual history at UC Santa Cruz and at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California. 

In addition to college teaching, she has worked as a reference book author, a freelance editor and indexer, and as a high school history and government teacher. In June 2020, she left her college-prep high school teaching position of seven years to return to a full-time writing career and pursue independent research projects, as well as write and publish a historical novel.
